Return to Question of the Week Highlights

If you have stayed at Disney's Vero Beach resort in the past, how have you enjoyed your stay(s) there? What are the strengths of this resort compared to the other DVC resorts? What about this resort do you think can be improved? How many nights do you stay at Vero Beach on a typical visit?

Answers posted to the list:

I LOVE Vero Beach. Letıs see where to start...

The view from an Inn room balcony
The slide (that is supposed to be for kids but more adults love it)
The food at all the nearby restaurants
The sound of the ocean
The Green Cabin room
The pancakes with peanut butter!
The ping pong by the pool
The miniature golf

Did I mention the view???? Ahhh....I think Iıll call MS and see if they have anything available.

The weather here is wonderful! The best we have had in months. No rain, clear blue skies, perfect temperature. Everyone come visit!

We love Vero Beach. We don't own any points there, but stay there at least once a year (for about a week). For the past several years we have spent the first week of June there (was already booked this year, so I am on a waiting list).

We find Vero Beach similar to the relaxation we feel on a cruise. We love to spend a busy few days at WDW, and then go to Vero to unwind. We love that the resort is right on the beach and you can choose to spend part of the day on the beach and part at the pool.

I have two kiddos a dd 12 (almost 13) and a ds (9). They love the activities offered at the resort. Between the two of them they have done scuba lessons, snorkeling, surfing, fishing, crafts, unbirthday party and the dinner
club. We have never been disappointed with any of the experiences offered.

We often dine on property, but have enjoyed some of the local restaurants too.

We have been members since 2000. We have visited VERO every year since then. We do not have any points
there, but love that we can relax either before our WDW trip or after it. The sound of the ocean in the morning and especially at night is magnificent.

The activites that are there for my daughter are FANTASTIC!!!!!! She is now 10 years old and still wants to do the UNBIRTHDAY this summer.

Our first year there we had a one-bedroom and cooked mostly in the room. In subsequent years, we have stayed in an oceanview inn room and have eaten off property most of the time. We have found some great restaurants. They are not that pricey either.
